Fiagbe, Delali Kudzo (MBChB, MWACP, FGCPS)

Dr. Delali Fiagbe has a comprehensive background in psychiatry, psychology, and neurology, with specialization in neuropsychiatry, neuropsychology, and neuromodulation. His research interests are centered around the neuropsychiatric dimensions of cognitive dysfunction, with a specific focus on studying neurocognitive impairments in individuals affected by conditions such as HIV/AIDS. Dr. Fiagbe is dedicated to developing targeted interventions to support vulnerable populations in the mental health space. 

Dr. Fiagbe's contributions to science encompass pioneering studies on neurocognitive dysfunction in schizophrenia and individuals living with HIV/AIDS. These studies have led to the implementation of tailored therapeutic interventions and early neuro-rehabilitation strategies. His proactive approach is evident in the establishment of the Neuromodulation Unit within the Department of Psychiatry at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, focusing on enhancing therapeutic options for individuals facing complex mental health conditions.

Dr. Fiagbe obtained his medical degree from the University of Ghana Medical School. He is a Fellow (Neuropsychiatry) of the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons. He also holds the membership qualification (Psychiatry) of the West African College of Physicians and Surgeons. 

He a member of several professional groups, including the Intergovernmental Panel Physicians Association, Psychiatric Association of Ghana, Ghana Psychological Association, Centre for Ageing Studies, University of Ghana Legon, and the Musicians Union of Ghana, Jazz Department.
